Apple Pork Sausage
Prep time: 15 minutes Cook time: 8 to 9 minutes Serves: 6
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground pork
2 ½ tsp. ground sage
1 tsp. garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
¼ to ½ tsp red pepper flakes (depending on level of heat)
1 tsp sea salt
¼ tsp ground pepper
1 cup apple, minced
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a medium sized mixing bowl. Mix well. Works best to mix with hands, in order to fully incorporate all seasoning evenly. Shape into 12 patties. Heat a stainless-steel skillet over medium heat. Cook for 5 minutes or until bottom side is nicely brown then flip. Cook other side for 3 minutes or until it is also nicely brown. Transfer to a paper towel lined plate to absorb any excess fat then serve.
