Roasted Chicken Dry Rub

There is something very comforting about roasted chicken.  Especially when it is roasted as a whole chicken and appears from the oven with a beautiful brown crisp skin that has sealed in all the juices.  Having a nice seasoning that adds to the flavor but doesn't contribute unhealthy sugars, preservatives, MSG, or other unwanted additives is a real plus.  I keep this spice blend on hand at all times so it is a quick grab, sprinkle, and roast!

2 tsp. sea salt

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp white pepper

1/2 tsp dried thyme

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/8 tsp cayenne

1/8 tsp dried rosemary, crushed

Blend well.  Store excess in an airtight container.
